School Counselors are committed to the use of 21st Century Learning Expectations in their curriculum.  Through academic, personal/social, and career/post-secondary counseling, students will be exposed to the following competencies: 

  • Problem solve in academic and/or personal/social situations.
  • Learn effective communication methods in dealing with faculty, peers, family, etc.
  • Effectively access, evaluate and use information relating to their post-secondary plans.
  • Demonstrate personal and academic responsibility and accountability.
  • Act respectively and with integrity as members of the school and greater community.
  • Learn how to adapt to change and be flexible while managing goals and time.
